Letze Woche fand hier das strøm Festival für elektronische Musik statt. Von Dienstag bis Sonntag jeden Tag mehrere Events und Acts in der Stadt verteilt. Und das beste: meistens umsonst!

Last week the strøm festival for electronic music was taking place here. From tuesday to sunday every day several events and acts going on all over town. And the best thing was: most of it was free!

Hier zB Donnerstag: Je m'appelle Mads, dänische crazy "Band" mit interessanterm Bühnenauftritt, haha.

Samstag: Bitmobilen, 2 Jungs mit Gameboys machen Lärm, aber war geil ... my heart beats for 8bit.

Goodbye Ghetto, Hello Hartkorn ...

Leider mussten wir das nette große Studio-Büro im Süden von KPH räumen. Ab Montag sind wir dann quasi Untermieter bei hartkorn-Architekten im Nord-Westen.

Irgendwie ein bisschen schade. Das neue Büro dort ist egtl ganz schick, aber das ist grad das Ding. Die Architekten-Bande da ist irgendwie n bisschen steif und das Büro ist von vorn bis hinten durchgestylt ... in schwarz, weiss und grau. 

Im alten Büro war das alles etwas improvisierter, es standen/lagen überall Prototypen rum und es war einfach n bisschen trashiger und nicht so schicki ... Des weiteren haben wir uns das große Studio auch mit den drei Jungs von AIAIAI geteilt, für die wir auch teilweise Sachen entwerfen. Und die waren schon auch immer ganz nett und mit uns auf einer Linie. Da hat die Musik gepasst, und auch die Lautstärke. Zum Mittag gabs auch mal n Bier, und es war einfach ne coole Atmosphäre. Aber wir werden den Laden da schon n bisschen aufmischen, zu unseren Mitbringseln gehörten nebst Arbeitsgerät (sprich PCs) auch eine blaue Tischtennisplatte, die jetzt dezent vor dem verglasten Meeting-Raum steht, ein grüner riesen Sessel und ein knall gelber Tisch ... bisher positives Feedback von der Architeken Seite ...

Und was einer der größten Nachteile des neuen Büros ist ... statt vorher 1,8 km hab ich jetzt 7,5 km zu radeln ...

Unfortunately we had to move out from our big studio-office in the south of CPH. From monday on we are kind of subtenant at hartkorn architects in the north west.

It is a little sad actually. Well, the new office is pretty nice but that's the thing. The architects bunch there is a little stiff and the office is styled from front to back ... in black, white and grey. 

At the old office things were a little more improvised, there were prototypes standing/lying around everywhere and it just was a little more trashy and less fancy ... besides that we shared the studio with the three guys from AIAIAI, for whom we also are making some designs. And these guys were really nice and on sort of the same level with us. Music was always appreciated and so was the volume. We would have a beer for lunch sometimes and it just was a cool atmosphere. But we will thrash things up a little over there (not literally, but style-wise). Besides our workstations we brought a blue ping pong table, which is now placed in front of the glazed meeting-rooms, a gigantic green easy chair and a bright yellow table ... positive feedback from the architects side so far ...

And one of the biggest disadvantages of the new place is ... instead of 1,8 km I know have to bike 7,5 km to work ...
